All-American Airborne Trucker Hat
We specifically created our Airborne caps in honor of the late Richard "Dick" Winters, the decorated WWII veteran and former commander of Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, forever memorialized in the HBO series Band of Brothers.
When re-watching Band of Brothers a few years ago — and seeing the Infantry overseas garrison side caps of the paratroopers — we knew we needed to recreate the iconic classic in modern form. Our original OD green Airborne hat sold out again and again, so we're proud to introduce the All-American: the same beloved design in the colors of the 82nd Airborne Division, the legendary "All-American" division whose paratroopers jumped into Normandy on D-Day.
The All-American Airborne Rope Cap features an embroidered patch of the classic WWII-era Airborne insignia, securely sewn to the front of a navy Richardson 258 rope cap. The braided white rope across the bill and the clean five-panel front give it a timeless, old-school look worthy of the history it carries.
